My comments:
The prophet Micah strongly rebuked the rulers (leaders?) of his day. Micah, a relative nobody, was filled with power by the Spirit of the Lord and of judgement and might, to tell the rulers/leaders of God's people (in no uncertain terms) that they were doing evil.
Those who celebrate their independence from God, are always a danger to society. God will not be mocked.
What are politicians thinking, when they deny truth and amplify immorality? With such radical adjendas as we are seeing in these times, they seem to be joyfully and willingly fullfilling prophecy, by transposing right and wrong.
Micah 3:2 & 3:
Doesn't this parallel the attitudes of many goverment officials AND to those participating in the 'abortion industry' who make their living in the culture of death.
The slaughter of millions of innocents:
Our mis-Representative form of government does not have the right to over-run the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, but by redefining what life 'is', they are violating human lives and rights every day.
Evil pushes for expansion of eugenics and general population control, on a global basis (including UN programs), under an innocuous sounding name like 'family planning'.
Hell has proclaimed 'abortion' to be a constitutional and human Right. satan hates God and therefore God's creation, so with lies, he gets humanity to destroy itself (spiritually, morally and physically), just as he always has. The thing is: he can't destroy without help from this physical world.
Micah 3:4:
What will prevent God from applying the same discipline to us?
When 'God hides HIS face' from a people/nation, HE is not being playful..... It is the beginning of a free-fall; a tail-spin; a time when all inhibitions are cast off; a time when formerly weak enemies may become impossibly strong and opportunistic predators.
The United States of America does not have a covenant with the Lord (unlike Israel.) Individual Americans can and do have a covenant(s), but not the entire nation. America's future is not specifically/clearly written in God's Word (at least not clearly to us at this time, even though there are hints, which are becoming exponentially more obvious to some and less so to others......)
I need to add this here and now:
IF THE SIGNS OF TIMES ARE NOT BEGINNING TO GLARE IN YOUR EYES, YOU SHOULD BE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT WHERE YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY!
IF CHRIST JESUS IS NOT YET YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR, FIND A BIBLE-BELIEVING CHRISTIAN AND ASK TO BE LED TO OUR LORD.

By ignoring the true attitudes and beliefs of those whom 'We the People' have willfully or thoughtlessly elected (hired) to manage OUR state and federal governments and courts (for us!), we have allowed those who do evil, to gain majority control of the entire Nation!
Corruption, pervertion and destruction multiply virally (exponentially), but correction happens one person at a time. There was reason behind God's zero tolerance policies regarding disobedience of 'The Law', which God gave to Israel after they left Egypt. (and Obama made fun of, in his "A Call to Renewal" speech)
Total 'freedom' (anything goes and celebration of that 'freedom'), creates an immoral society, which denies God as the Creator of the universe (you and I included) and the fact that Christ Jesus paid the greatest price, for each and every person. Romans 1:18-32 tells us the price paid by individuals and societies, who/which willfully deny God due recognition.
Micah 3:5:
Our government also teaches us to do wrong (err). It uses the very form of government, intended to protect human rights, to bind our hands and close our minds; but only with regard to anything Godly.
When the masses do not get what they want out of the 'deal' they made, they will turn on their leaders (and bite the hand that fed them...)
Micah 3:7:
Even much of the church in America, has become ineffective. Fear of being accused of not being "politically correct" and losing tax-exempt status, has intimidated church leadership into bowing in the presence of evil. Corruption is attracted to opportunities for power and wealth.

Micah 3:9 & 10:
With Obama's goal, to make FOCA a federal law and the threat of re-application of the "Fairness Doctrine" by the FCC, the Mason Proffit protest song "Two Hangmen" (1969) [see links] is ringing in my brain. I just can't get past the words "that don't bother me, at all.", because it does bother me......
Remember the quote from George Washington (at top of this page)? The United States of America has been richly blessed with prosperity and success in defending herself and even other nations around the globe. Will an ungrateful, simple majority spell the end to this nation's blessings from our Creator????
What is now going on in the minds and hearts of Christians, Jews, anyone with a conscience, who voted for Obama / Biden? Is there any guilt; don't they feel a conviction in their heart?

How do 'We the People' dare to continue to allow and celebrate the moral decline of our nation?
40 to 50 million pre-born human beings have been slaughtered since 1973, by ghouls who lie to the mother, just to make the sale and often leave her with a lifetime of regrets and guilt; their children having been given over, used to feed the ghouls.
sexual perversion (a.k.a. 'diversity'; which by definition divides a society) is promoted to our children and celebrated, as normal and acceptable lifestyles, even by so-called 'Christians' and religions. The homosexual 'movement' even took the symbol of God's covenant (to Noah, his decendants and all the creatures of the earth) not to destroy the world by a flood of water again) and they proudly wave the rainbow in direct defiance to God.
(Please read Romans 1:18..32, to understand God's view of perversions / abominations and denial of HIM.)
God can heal these conditions and much more, but only for those who are willing to accept HIM!
Only God can stop the moral decline of our nation, as it now is far beyond human strength to reverse. It is not beyond God answering prayer offered in faith. BUT it is within HIS sovereignty, to do AND not do, as HE wills. God answers to no-one.
Even if we are in the midst of signs of the end of the age (as it surely seems we are), believers should continue to pray for God's forgiveness for this nation. Also pray for God's wisdom (not human wizdumb) for our elected leaders. God IS in control. but mankind has free-will and a fallen sin nature.

Is all of this to take us by surprise? No, God told us things would go this way; accellerating rapidly, as the 'end' approaches.
President Obama has reversed the Bush administration's executive orders, regarding 'fetal stem-cell research'. He created a government license for scientists to kill, and bill; evil unchained....
Science, in the facist way, is now government sponsored, to go about trampling the rights of some, for the supposed good of others.
President Obama stated that 'solid science' should not have the impediment of 'ideology'. BUT 'solid science' is provable and repeatable, not theories and not using human beings as unwilling guinea pigs (slaves). Obama has repeatedly given the green light to a state-sponsored murder, in direct violation of his Constitutional Responsibility.

By association and action and words, he shows his true colors.
It seems to me, by his actions, President Obama is severely lacking in the light of truth. He acts as a son of the father of lies (John 8:43-45); not as who/what he has claimed (or alluded) to be. He is either stupid, or purposeful in his hatred of America and truth. It might still be early in his presidency, but I think it is the latter case. [note: six months later....no change.]
With populations (reproduction rates) declining in so many nations and the Muslim populations increasing globally, to be purposely slaughtering our children, generation after generation, seems to be a significant portion of satan's plan, to conquer the world.
America has allowed human nature to become the prevailing force in government. The 'liberals' say Christianity is oppressive. Wait until they are under the yoke/sword of Islam! (conversion, submission, or execution 'your choice')
In his campaign and after, Obama parsed his words (under the guise of pausing to acknowledge people in the audience), in order to say all things to all people (willingly winning friends and foes alike.)
Your subconscious brain puts the punctuation where it believes periods and commas should be. But punctuation can totally change the meaning of a string of words. Obama was surely trained in court-room speech and seems to enjoy using it on-camera.
Now Obama is plastered all over television, celebrated as some sort of god and waving his contributions to the moral decline, in the face of God, seemingly to tempt (dare) God to violate HIS (God's own) Word. What has Obama learned from years of attending 'Christian' church(es)?
It is a relief to see polls showing America losing enthusiasm for Obama and his promises of 'change'. [note: more so, six months later! Thank You Lord!]
Maybe there can be at least a simple majority shift by the mid-term election cycle. Then some of "Gang-Green" can join the unemployed masses, or better yet, move to Europe, or the Arctic to feed the poor polar bears (which are starving, do to over population...I mean "Global Warming", or "Climate Change", or whatever the next scam will be.)
God is THE source of ALL our nation's blessings.
Our government, though (formerly?) the best on earth, is not the source of any blessings.
Our nation's morality will only have a chance to recover if government gets out of the way AND DOES ITS JOB(s).
We the People need to get on our individual and collective knees before God.
We will ALL get on our knees before God... eventually, Why not you? Why not now?
The intruder is in the house: what are we to do?
